gucci loafers forum*******I realize that Gucci loafers are bad value from a construction standpoint, but are they nice? I've always liked the double G loafers and thought they could make for a good standout piece.
In terms of quality of make, Gucci loafers certainly would not compare as well with some of the SF's favourites here (e.g. EG, JL). But your suede loafers definitely has a strong element of style around it.
Gucci bit loafers are an iconic item and are comfortable, but they are not high quality shoes. Also, I chose the Jordaan for their durability, over the Brixton which were my first choice (as the look is slightly more casual). I've just bought some beautiful red Gucci Jordaan loafers. Due to the colour particularly, I'm wondering whether i need to treat them with a waterproofing spray (or something else) before braving the wonderful British weather in them! Would be grateful for advice from any other owners please. I shine my cordovan balmorals every week (or have them shined).
